Costumers of Color, Inc. is dedicated to creating welcoming spaces for people of color. In academic and hobby spaces traditionally dominated by a narrow perspective, we believe that historical costuming and public history should reflect the broad-ranging world we live in. Through scholarships, educational events, historical trips, and a firm commitment to building a safe, multicultural community, we’re working to break down barriers, elevate multicultural voices, and celebrate the many histories that make up our global community. Friends of Costumers of Color

As a Patron, you automatically become a ‘Friend of Costumers of Color’ when you make a donation. Our donors make the path to realizing this vision possible. Thanks to them we fully funded for our inaugural 2024 scholarship, we sold out our inaugural 18th-century Chevalier event, and we had support to lead 12 travelers in Italy in late winter and spring of our first year.
