Costumers of Color, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that benefits the public by awarding scholarships, creating educational events, and leading historical costuming trips for all* those who value inclusion, fairness, & history.

OUR ACTIVITIES

Our vision is for welcoming and safe multicultural* spaces in historical costuming and living history. The community we are building benefits from valuing individuals with varied perspectives and experiences. Together, we highlight and celebrate the contributions of communities of color to the historical record.

Our organization is 100% volunteer. 100% of donated funds go towards our three initiatives: Education, Events, and Travel. Our 2025 activities have been funded by donors like YOU, and grants from Seedtime Fund, the Walmart Spark Good program, and the Microsoft Nonprofit program.
