Sina is a cosplayer who has been actively involved in the New Zealand Hanfu society for more than 10 years, she started her han cultural studies back in 2012 while she was still in High School. She was part of the committee that started the Han Culture University Club in Auckland University, where it grew to be one of the most popular cultural societies there. Sina now works for the NZ Han Culture Association as treasurer and event executive.

Frankie is an established cosplay photographer based in Tamaki Makaura (Auckland). Her parents immigrated from Hong Kong when she was young, so being brought up in Aotearoa (New Zealand) made her out of touch with her own culture. She started a Hanfu project where she wanted to reconnect to her ancestral roots and it became a lifelong passion.

Sina and Frankie both hope that this panel will provide people an insight to this traditional garment and learn to appreciate it the way that they do.
