An image of Marisa. They are wearing glasses and smiling at the camera, wearing a lavender gown and a darker purple shawl. Their black hair is tied up with red ribbons and a beautiful white headpiece.

I refer to myself as a “chaotic sewing goblin, which means while I love the look of historically accurate clothing and sewing techniques, I typically do my own thing and take lots of shortcuts. I’ve been costuming for about 15 years now, and wear a wide range of periods from ancient Rome to the 1950’s.

A member of the SCA, and a rennie long before that, I have studied and dressed in a wide range of eras. As a lover of fashion, I have also consulted for a pending couture and fashion series for The Unconventional (www.unconventional.ink).
