Three-night rest from the rush, relaxing and rejoicing in the Puget Sound in Washington State.

Every day will begin with a leisurely breakfast. We’ll chat and get to know each other, experiencing the sweetness of doing nothing for the morning. The afternoons will be dedicated to skill sharing workshops, morale-building, formative mentorship, and camaraderie time. Inspired by the attendees’ historical costuming endeavors, short workshops will focus on creating accessories, clothing, or other historical material culture, and understanding the POC of the past. Every evening, we’ll enjoy dinners, gathering to chat creativity and the slow, chewy stuff of life.

All costuming levels of experience welcome. This retreat is specifically intended for those desiring to connect with other POC and sojourn in the sacredness of community, safe spaces, and healing the self.
