Dearest Readers,

New Year possibilities are in the air, and costumers all over are planning the next event du jour for the rapidly approaching Spring. However, I’ve caught wind of whisper in the air… something brewing in my own ton.

I’ve heard the stirrings of an event planned for the coming month. Plans of grandeur, I say. Talks of silk roads, spice routes, maritime trade, guest speakers on topics of history and culture. Even the wearing of historical fashion!

Of course, those things in themselves are not wrong, or bad. It’s simply unheard of for those of the global majority to decide to have the audacity to attend such an event, much less plan their own.

Much less plan their own without my knowledge, that is.

I’ll make it my business to uncover who these upstarts are. After all, this is my ton.
